Mission Accomplished

What a work force we had this weekend. Even the rain showers didn't dampen their enthusiasm.

On Friday, Kevin, Dave and I spent the afternoon preparing quite a few of the bikes in the pile for the scrapyard. All the wheels had to come off because of the rubber tires. All sorts of mufflers and parts were also loaded onto the trailer for transport.

What a load this will be to take down to the metal scrappers.

Saturday was a milestone. The last remaining old shed came down fairly easy and only required the New Holland to push it over.

Dave pulled up the old rotten trees and roots so the area is now clear.

Don, Bob, Chris, and John made short work of decommissioning the framework so we could use the wood elsewhere.

Don is "on a roll' pushing the heavy roller to compact the gravel that he spread around, making it level. This gravel is very fine and almost makes it feel and look like paving.

Then it was time to "fill 'er up!" Moving motorcycles and equipment in.

We can't thank our friends enough for all their help...what an accomplishment!
