Family Af-FAIR

It's Volusia County Fair time! My brother Rick joined Dave and I for an afternoon of checking out the tractors, displays, animals, rides, and of course all the great food.

What a colorful event, especially as we watched all the different rides.

Some were really extreme!

I always enjoy looking at all the cake exhibits.

'Minions!' A very popular theme everywhere.

This would be fun in the trails at home.

We could use some goats up north too.

Dave and Rick tried their hand at milking this fake cow. It even mooed!

This robot cruised around the fairgrounds and was a big hit with the crowd, especially the kids.

Wish we could find a gas pump like this one.

Of course the guys are always drawn to the tractors....

...and the engines.

Dave was in the right place at the right time when they needed another driver for the tractor parade.

His needed a jump start from the owner of all these Farmalls.

Miss Volusia County Fair led the way.

This is Meghan with HER John Deere tractor that no one else was allowed to touch. Notice she's still a 'girlie girl' wearing her pearls.

Dave was in 7th Heaven driving this 1948 Farmall Super AV.

Rick, Dave, and John (the owner) turn off the gas and talk tractors.

What a fun way to end the day!

  1. Carol & Dave,

My Dad is getting his '46 Farmall Cub re-done. It should be ready for spring. Looks like you guys are having lots of fun. Keep the PICS coming. It makes this cold New Yorker smile even though he is extremely jealous!
