Finally Back On Track!

Our summer certainly has had a slow start because of my forehead surgery and the rainy, cool weather. We have been going to some our normal annual events, but have not taken photos because everything was pretty the much the same as previous years. If you would like a recap, you can always go back to the past few year's posts. ;-)

However, we are now getting back into the swing of things, and we took a long overdue hike to our favorite spot in the Adirondacks, up on Mt. Defiance between Lake George and Lake Champlain. We haven't been here in the 2 1/2 years since Dave's accident.

 Lake George...and notice I am finally able to wear a hat after 7 weeks!

 

 

Lake Champlain...and I still wonder how someone got that picnic table up there.

 

I may not be writing as much this summer since we don't have internet access up in Ticonderoga. If you don't see any future posts for awhile, you will know that we are up north having fun and making up for lost time.
