Back To 'School'

Every Tuesday for 12 weeks, my mother goes to a class for the visually impaired to learn all the ways that will help her get along in every day life, with her macular degeneration. There is door to door transportation which is great and there are 6 people in the class that lasts from 10-2.

 
Kimberly, the instructor is blind and she is amazing. I have been going to help Mom understand and remember what she is taught and told about all the fantastic gadgets, magnifiers, etc. that are available to make it easier for her to cope with her failing eyesight. It really has been an educational experience.
