Return To Dania

January was a bleak, mostly boring month for us, but finally last weekend we were able to get out and have some fun. I joined Scott and Dave for their yearly trip down to the 17th Annual Dania Beach Vintage Bike Show. My brother Rick and sister-in-law Eva drove down from Port Orange, so it was a great reunion. There were lots more than motorcycles at this event, including bicycles, trikes, and even a few cars.

Dave brought his Yamahopper and Scott had his Honda Trail 70 on display, but they mainly brought them to compete in the games, which was a blast to watch. Competition was fierce and the course was harder than it looked. Dave did win his first round of going the slowest without putting his feet down! He went head to head against Scott this time around.

Other obstacles included picking up balls from the top of cones and placing them back on, throwing hoops around the cones, and trying to stab rings with a pole as you go along.

Afterwards, all the competitors received medals for joining in the fun.

Here are a few more bikes that we saw at the show:

What a great way to end the month! Hopefully February will be even better since we have lots of events scheduled on our calendar.
