Summary of the Past Month

What a fun and interesting past month it has been! We've done lots of kayaking and Hornbeck canoeing. The highlight was finding an old graphite mine on a hiking trail off Putnam Pond that we paddled to.

Then there was the annual paddle (and dive in the water) from the Ticonderoga Town Beach, across Lake George, over to Rogers Rock.

Dave had his AristoCraft on display at the ACBS Boat show in Lake George Village.

We also launched the Sea Fox at Lake Flower in the village of Saranac Lake and went through the lock to Lower Saranac Lake.

Most recently was the annual Tugboat Round-up in Waterford, at the junction of the Erie and Champlain Canals.

That sums up the latter part of the summer with more annual events on the horizon, followed by prep for our Florida departure in late October. Time flies!
