Luminary Night

Last night was the night that our community puts out luminaries throughout the park. It is such a pretty tradition.

Then came the golf cart parade with so many decorations!

This year with covid precautions, there was no Christmas celebration dinner provided and served by management in our clubhouse. Instead, the whole family that owns the park (and their employees), decorated their own golf carts and utility trailer, delivering cookies and bottles of wine to the residents as they watched the parade go by.

Since we do not have much storage, we need to stick to minimal decorating on our place. These LED lights don't show up well in the photo, but they are super bright. Best of all they come on a reel and store away in a small spot.

Meanwhile the wind blows on and we had very chilly weather last week, with more to come this week. Thank goodness we have had some projects to take care of and a few kayak trips, working around the wind. More on that soon!
