We have had lots and lots of rain lately. We were disappointed when the latest Monday night (once a month) car show at the Albany Saratoga Speedway was cancelled last week, but then excited when we heard that they had rescheduled it for this past Monday. Dave waxed and detailed the Kewl '39 Plymouth and we were set to go at 5 PM. Jim Rulison hopped on his first year GL 1000 Goldwing and followed us over there, about 30 minutes away. What a shock to arrive and find not a soul around, but a sign saying "event cancelled!" It had rained earlier in the morning and possible showers predicted for later, but at the moment it was gorgeous out. On the way home I searched for any kind of announcement about the cancellation and only found a Facebook post from an hour earlier (around 4:30 and the show was 4-9pm) that said it was cancelled. What a bummer, but we sure looked great and had our own show out front of the house!
