Walking The Docks

Not only were we at the convergence of the Mohawk River and the Schoharie Creek yesterday, but we were also at the junction of the Hudson and Mohawk Rivers later on in the day. What a beautiful evening to walk the docks at the lock in Waterford! There were quite a few cruising yachts there, along with the tugboat 8th Sea and the tugboat Margot

The last photo above was a really interesting canal cruiser with a long bowsprit. It looked like a really comfortable liveaboard boat and even had potted plants on the stern. As we were walking by the visitor center we realized we were on the center's webcam and saw ourselves on their webpage, using my phone. I didn't think of this until after we had arrived home, but I should have taken a screen shot of us waving. Oh well, next time!
