Debut

Yesterday was the Farmall Cub Demonstrator's show debut. Our friend Lisa, who has a Farmall Cub in red, went with Dave to the Gallupville Gas-Up. Loading both tractors onto our big transport trailer was quite a feat, but they both fit, even with the snowplow still attached.

I went a bit later on since it was a 90 degree day and held out in an open field with no shade. It was well worth the trip. The parade was the biggest we have ever attended and it was a proud day for all three of us. Lisa and Dave...

Here are some other samples of what was on display including a 1927 Farmall. All the machinery was between 50 to 100+ years old and most were in running condition. It is amazing to see such diversity in one place and it was great to see so many kids participating.

Best in show for us was this display of miniature Farmalls, complete with the white demonstrator (it even said that on the tractor). The owners had their details down to a science, complete with matching white and red chairs and mugs! I'm sure we'll be next...

I was concentrating on getting a photo of the white one, but there is a red one behind it too.

A fantastic way to end the day, but we'll be back again next year as one of our annual traditions!
