Serenity Now

The lake is STILL quiet with very few boats out during the week. We launched the kayaks yesterday at the Hague boat launch and headed into the north wind towards the Waltonian Islands.

These islands are so picturesque and there were just a couple of people camping on them.

After a fast downwind paddle back to Hague, we went up a little side creek with freshly fallen flowers in the water.

The photo below speaks louder than words " serenity now, insanity later".

We will enjoy the 'serenity' for now. It will be sooner rather than later when the 'insanity' will begin with summer people and lots of boats towing 'tubers' and water toys.
