Fair Time!

Every year or so we like to attend a fair somewhere in the great Northeast. This year it was the Champlain Valley Fair just outside of Burlington, Vermont.

This fair is a big one and we had a great time looking at all the displays and animals.

The amusement ride area was the biggest we have ever seen. A big hit was the double decker merry-go-round.

How about The Great Pumpkin(s)? Look at fast they grew!

There was a nice little parade around the grounds too.

Then it was time for the main event that we went for...freestyle motocross jumping! There were 5 riders that gave demonstrations and their tricks were awesome. It is so much different seeing it in person than on TV. A few times I couldn't watch (almost 😉). At the end of the show, all five guys preformed jumping tricks one right after the other so at times there were 2-3 of them in the air at the same time. Dave took a few photos, but it was hard to do because it happened so fast that you wondered what you saw, almost like watching fireworks. 

Another great end of summer outing!
