As I sit here watching everything get wetter from the remnants of Hurricane Florence, I figured it was an appropriate time to post some photos of this year's Wet Meet at Schroon Lake, which was held this past Sunday. Once again, as it did last year, the fog rolled in making it quiet and eerie, but when the sun came out, the hydroplanes were ready to go out for demonstrations. Several needed some work to get running, but that's all a part of the experience! After seeing everyone out having fun on this super calm day, we went back to Ticonderoga and took Moxie out for one more swim in Lake George before we winterized the boat.
We hate to see it all end, but we feel we got the most out of this great summer on the lakes. Time to bring on autumn!
