Wheels!

It has been a hard decision as to what to have down here for a second set of wheels. We originally intended to bring my PT Cruiser Convertible down on a tow dolly, but at the last minute opted not to do that with the van. We have been driving the van around and it is fine but still would like to have something else for the back roads...and yes, there are some great roads down here besides busy US 1! After seeing quite a few motorcycles going in and out of our community (amazing how many there are in a 55+ park), we hopped on the bandwagon and got UShip prices to have Dave's Silverwing 600 brought down here. He only drives it about 50 miles a year up home, so why not give it a new lease on life?! Late today the bike arrived and is sitting under cover awaiting Dave to take us for a ride. What a nice sight it will be for him after seeing all the devastation in Abaco.

Although I would still like to have my little PT down here, the Silverwing certainly takes up a lot less room than a another car would. Maybe next year...😉
